Holiday scheduling has moved this meeting to the Monday before Christmas.

with a lot of positive feedback.
Come forward and briefly demo or just talk about your favorite application.
It can be either something that strictly uses a Command Line Interface (CLI)
or something that uses a Graphical Users Interface (GUI), or even uses both.
No meeting was held during November 2008

Nagios Demonstration
- Thursday - September 25, 2008
by Carl Fitch
Nagios® is an Open Source host, service and network monitoring program.
Additional background information is available
here and
here .
Our speaker for July had "called in sick" and the meeting was a very informal affair.
We had returned in August to demonstrate Nagios in action, but, events all too often
overwhelm the presenter's ability and inclination to follow the schedule.
Fortunately the alternate topics of discussion were very interesting and varied.
We have rescheduled the demonstration again. However, with the new projector,
life will be very good. Everyone will be able to see the demo in living color!!
Or, at least without crowding around a laptop screen.
Bring some questions and/or share your knowledge. Soak up the experience and enjoy
the company. Plus, you can learn while enjoying the food.
